Testimonials

Use these several times a month of oxine soaks to kill thrush, white line disease and scratches on our herd. Easy to apply. Makes it so easy to soak a hoof.  So so so so worth every penny for the aggravation they have saved me. Can not be over tightened or cut off circulation when tied but still stay snug. I use them on QH's on down to mini donkeys. Thank you so much for a great product! Buy them, your frustration will be gone

Has saved me so much aggravation

If you've ever tried to get a donkey to place her hoof into a bucket of medicated water, then you know why I sought out some alternative. These arrived (very quickly) yesterday and my donkey had very little reaction to my placing her front hoof in the boot. The top rolled down to fit her shorter leg and still tied around her leg, below her knee, very nicely. She took one step and, had it been a bucket, she would have been in the muck. The boot stayed on and all was well! Actually, she has abscesses in both front hooves so I used a boot on each foot. Thanks for inventing these! I hope I never have to use them but they would be handy for all kind of equine ailments (and maybe some other species as well).

Best invention since sliced bread…………...

Absolutely fabulous product. I run a small boarding facility and there is always a horse that needs attention. These boots have definitely taken the stress and anxiety out of bucket soaking. I simply put them on, leave the horse in its stall, and go on to a different horse. They are well made and the cushioned pad is a plus. I found the straps to work well and tighten nicely. I would suggest that when removing them you simply put your toe on the bottom edge to hold the boot in place. These are as essential to any barn as brushes and hoof picks. I plan to buy another set. Every barn should have these boots

I am presently in the fourth week of treating the rear hooves of a Clydesdale mare with White Lightning. The boot material is more durable than I expected it to be, similar to a child's raincoat. One boot sprung a leak last week and I bought a second pair of these boots. I was able to repair the leak with a bicycle tire patch. I was skeptical of the claim that one size would fit all horses. Her front hooves would not fit these boots. White Lightning releases a gas; the point of the boots is to trap the gas around the foot. I can get the cloth ties tight enough to stop most gas from leaking out the top

These boots may permit me to avoid invasive surgery.

I was so surprised at how nice this boot is. We needed to use it right away an one of my horses with acute laminitis. Working with icing a horse in the winter is crazy enough. I slipped it over his Soft-Ride boot and loaded it with a water and an ice slurry. Even with a little movement on his part, there was no spilling and mess. When we were done it was easy to slip his leg out and just take the boot outside and empty it. I run a boarding barn and will recommend this boot to everyone. In my opinion it was much easier than more expensive options.
